As 2020 drew to a close, we were pleased to handover Knight Harwood’s second project with the iconic Grade II listed, former Fire Station, the Chiltern Firehouse Hotel and Restaurant.

It was a pleasure to unveil this new structure, which provides the Hotel and Restaurant with additional covered space in the outdoor courtyard. The exceptional cast iron and glass structure is a result of five years of design consultation, planning and client approval. In a design that is heavily influenced by Joseph Paxton, the famous Victorian Architect who led the way in conservatory design, the covered space is a fitting place for discerning clientele to enjoy socialising in the open air.
