Overview

Ealing, the West London suburb experienced a retail and leisure renaissance ahead of the Crossrail 1 line opening. Knight Harwood were appointed to transform an existing dated shopping mall into a vibrant new retail destination with high-profile tenants.

The initial phase of the redevelopment and structural refurbishment included stripping out the existing Arcadia Shopping Centre and converting the mall into three retail units. Morrisons moved into a 44,000 sq ft unit, TK Maxx into a 42,000 sq ft unit, and McDonald’s took an 8,000 sq ft unit. All work was carried out with the shopping centre remaining operational.
