The Royal Academy of Engineering

The complete remodel and refurbishment of this five-storey Grade I listed building, undertaken whilst the Academy remained in occupation. The reception and ground floor spaces were refurbished to provide new hospitality and lecture theatres alongside new staff offices and amenities on Levels 1 and 2.

Structural works included the creation of new lift shafts and services risers, some of which required underpinning. The building featured a new sinuous bridge at the entrance; conference, lecture and meeting facilities; reception areas and toilets; and new plant and air handling equipment.
