Our Special Works team are thrilled to complete their project at The Heart at 90 Long Acre, Covent Garden. They have converted an exciting design concept into reality and transformed this destination space with unique 10 metre tall steel tree sculptures, and other bespoke features such as luxurious banquette seating.

Our video highlights the recently completed project with the Royal Academy Schools. This project has seen the transformation of the RA Schools space to provide a fully accessible, flexible and high-quality work environment for its staff and students.

Named after the 3rd Duke of Portland, this wide and prestigious London avenue, Portland Place, is home to our refurbishment of a nine-storey 1950s office building for repeat client, The Howard De Walden Estate. Once home to the RIBA—the space has been given a new bold identity, seamlessly blending modern design with its rich architectural heritage.

The green roof, terraces, and handmade York brickwork façade showcase a perfect fusion of modern aesthetics and classic elegance. The reception area stands out with exceptionally high-quality finishes, including inviting brick slip wall cladding, sophisticated bronze paneling, comfortable leather seating, and sleek micro cement flooring. This transformation not only marks the end of construction but the emergence of a space that adds charm and timeless allure to the Marylebone neighborhood.

We are pleased to introduce you to some members of the Knight Harwood team behind our project with Howard De Walden, a major demolition and redevelopment scheme behind a retained existing façade on Marylebone Lane.

We are on track to complete the final phase of our project for the global brand, Peloton. Works on site are now in the finishing stages including tiling, decorations and joinery.

Our Special Works team have completed the next phase of works of our project with Education First. The Vault Bar at Ashridge House is now fully stocked and open to the public. Work to refurbish the courtyard WCs and fit out the Lifestyle Centre will be complete in early 2023.

An update on our project with The Mercers’ Company designed by Stanton Williams. The archaeologists are now finished on site, allowing the new basement slab and reinforced concrete superstructures to commence.

Due to its location on a constrained site in a busy part of London, our project with The Howard de Walden Estate has required careful planning, extensive temporary works and an efficient logistics plan. Demolition work is now complete, the basement structure finished, and the steel frame is progressing well.

Our Grain House project in the heart of Covent Garden, with Hines, is progressing well, with the scaffolding being struck during the last month to reveal the refurbished facade.

You can’t miss our project with W.RE at Clapham Junction. The rooftop extension is a prominent feature on the London skyline as you pass through Britain’s busiest railway station. The restoration of the Grade II listed facade has started, with installation of the curtain walling well underway, and rainscreen cladding is due to commence soon.
