Culture

We get our job satisfaction from delivering great spaces and buildings. All our energy goes towards this simple objective. Projects are never easy and full of challenges so, to succeed, we always try to create a positive and collaborative atmosphere amongst our own team, the wider design team and our supply chain. It is important that we work to everyone’s strengths.

Our aim is always to find the best people in the industry to join and stay with us. We provide a stable and supportive environment where staff are actively looked after. We invest time in understanding an individual’s aspirations for their future and help them to achieve their goals through carefully planned training and the right work experience.

Graduates and Trainees

An important aspect of Knight Harwood’s future is the young people who join our industry and our business. Once on board, they embark upon a training programme across a range of disciplines including construction management, quantity surveying and engineering which may involve joining one of our training or apprenticeship programmes.

If you are interested in applying or learning more about these opportunities, please email us at [email protected].

Meet our Graduates and Apprentices

Our graduates and apprentices are a valued part of our business and we hope that they will flourish and establish themselves in senior roles within Knight Harwood. They follow a structured training programme experiencing different roles, project settings and working within a variety of teams.

Introducing Sophie - Assistant Design Manager

Meet Sophie, an assistant design manager. Sophie will talk you through her experience of our training programme, what she loves about working in London and what she enjoys about working with Knight Harwood.

Introducing Fin - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We would like to introduce Fin, an assistant quantity surveyor who is currently on our graduate training programme. Fin will tell you more about our graduate scheme and how it has supported his entry into the construction industry.

Introducing Alex Tarrant - Senior Project Manager

Meet Alex Tarrant, a Senior Project Manager at our George Street project, who joined Knight Harwood via our graduate scheme thirteen years ago. Alex will tell you more about his journey and how he feels that without this tremendous start in the industry, he would not be where he is today.

Introducing Harvey Welch - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Meet Harvey, an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Harvey joined Knight Harwood through our apprentice scheme and will complete five years training on the job and a part time degree, to go on to become a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor.
