Overview
This mixed-use development consists of six independent buildings which were rebuilt and fitted out to provide high specification office space and four new luxury apartments.
Two buildings had additional storeys added and the floor plates redesigned to create greater efficiency and to maximise lettable area. Contemporary glass façades were inserted between the buildings to link them together. The apartments occupy a floor each within Leeder House, a former piano factory. A high quality, robust granite sett courtyard provides an attractive garden space for shared use.
The scheme fronts onto Erskine Road and is nestled between the surrounding terraces’ back gardens, including 28 neighbouring residential and commercial properties. This made for a highly-constrained site in which to work.
