We would like to introduce Kapil Panchal, one of Knight Harwood’s planning managers. Kapil joined the team seven years ago and is involved in every stage of our projects, from tendering through to construction and final handover of the project. He thrives on the challenge and excitement that being exposed to such a wide variety of work brings.
Kapil’s work starts during the tendering process, where he develops the project tender-stage programme; these typically include design release, client sign-offs, procurement strategies, logistics approach and construction methodology. During the construction phase, he regularly monitors the on-site progress, reprogrammes strategies to overcome challenges, develops a detailed construction sequence and integrates specialist subcontractor advice.
Kapil enjoys working closely with the site team and immersing himself in the detail of the project, producing the optimum programme and always endeavouring to overcome constraints or hidden challenges. Problem solving is something that Kapil finds particularly interesting; he recently put this skill into action during a private residential project which involved an incredible range of specialist finishes sourced from suppliers from across the globe.
